Moments From Our Gala in the Garden
On April 29, The Founders Memorial Garden was brimming with decorations as Rouge hosted a “Gala in the Garden” magazine exhibition for our spring issue. Members and friends floated around in their delicate crepe dresses and pastel suits — and masks of course — as they observed spreads from the latest issue. Our garden party couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was cool, the flowers were blooming and the air was filled with excitement as we celebrated together. Here is a closer look at the event:
With each display, guests could scan a code that led them to behind-the-scenes looks and information on the making of our magazine this semester.
Guests made their own floral bouquets with the help of Marigo Flowers. Check out their dreamy set-up:
And check out these colorful bouquets!
Of course, we have to appreciate the fashion. Many swapped their typical party attire with billowing tulle and satin fabrics. In light of our garden party theme, most wore bright hues and soft pastels, creating a playful color palette against the greenery.
Everyone looked beautiful as they walked around the garden. The sun was setting as the party came to a close, and, naturally, we had to have an exec photoshoot to finish off the night:
Our “Gala in the Garden” event was a major hit, and we had so much fun celebrating with you all! Although this year has brought plenty of challenges and frustrations, we could not be happier with the results. Make sure to get your hands on our spring issue — it’s the most iconic yet, so you don’t want to miss it!
