Sustainable Shopping
Conscious Consumerism is on the Rise.
Shoppers are becoming more aware and seeking out brands that align with their personal values. It is a movement about putting your money toward what you believe in. Some might say that when you shop, you are voting with your dollar. As consumers continue to push for transparency, more companies are getting on board to have a more positive social, environmental, and political impact. Here are some great brands to check out!

Everlane prioritizes natural fibers and recycled synthetics— never using new plastic. Their goal is to create timeless and durable pieces that are meant to last longer than the typical fashion cycle. I am personally loving their cozy outerwear!
Your local thrift store and online consignment
Shopping secondhand is by far the most sustainable way to shop. Reusing or renting clothes, rather than buying new, will help reduce huge amounts of waste. This means less clothing in landfills and less pollution. With online consignment such as Poshmark, Depop, The RealReal, and Rent The Runway, secondhand shopping has never been easier— not to mention the prices are unbeatable. With vintage looks coming back in style, it is a great way to find unique pieces that no one else will have.
Ultimately, we should all think twice before we buy. By carefully choosing where and what we purchase, we can make the world a better place!
