Gas up the Jet and Enjoy the Latest Issue- “On the Run”
On May 7, Rouge kicked off summer with the launch of its latest issue, On the Run. The theme is heavily influenced by 1960’s and 70’s fashion, a time of jet setting, classic film and adventures, with a western twist. “On the Run is a fresh yet classic tribute to escapades we all wish to experience once classes adjourn for the summer”, said Editor-in-Chief Cece Grosz.
Rouge members and their plus ones slipped into their best cocktail attire and made their way to the Tree Room. Guests were greeted with a copy of the issue, as well as a cutout Rouge themed sugar cookie (10/10. YUM)
A variety of hors d'oeuvres and mocktails were served including the mimosas, old fashions, and the Carrie Bradshaw favorite cosmopolitans. Even the New York style pizza served had an air of elegance with simplistic white pizza boxes stamped with Rouge’s logo.
Upstairs overlooked the breathtaking scenery down below. A warm summer breeze was a breath of fresh air in the roofless building as lights dangled from the tree in the center of the venue, giving an Instagram worthy experience.

Floral maxi gowns, silk silhouettes, and sequin midi dresses were a moment as guests mixed and mingled celebrating the Spring/Summer issue.
To top it off, the release party playlist kept the energy high throughout the event. Two words to describe the new issue: First Class.
