Festive Fashion: A Style Guide to the 2023 Holiday Season

With every holiday season comes new fashion trends and a resurgence of classic styles. The colder weather brings exciting new opportunities to break out accessories and layering pieces to keep you bundled up and looking stylish.

To get you in the holiday spirit and prepare for your best-dressed looks at gatherings and parties, I couldn’t think of a better way to let you in on this season’s must-have items than in the style of a classic Christmas tale.

With a chill in the air

That goes beyond reason

The students asked what they should wear

This holiday season

So fill your mug with cocoa

Because I am spilling all the tea

On what you should be wearing

For winter 2023

One trend we’re loving

That’s timeless and classic

Is a cute Sophie scarf

To go under your jacket

Or maybe go a different route

If the weather gets colder

And wear a chunky scarf

That can go over your shoulder

For this next winter trend

We’re channeling Brigitte Bardot

With a thick and wide headband

To protect your ears from falling snow

A cozy closet must-have

Is an off-the-shoulder sweater

Dress it up or dress it down

Whichever way you choose is better

Every one of us is a gift

So why not look the part?

Tie some ribbons in your hair

To accessorize and make your mark

A holiday party staple

Is a mini cocktail dress

Make it sequined or velvet

If you really want to impress

To elevate your street style

Trade in your leather blazer

For a leather bomber jacket

It’s about time to replace her

We already love your winter outfits

Anyone who doesn’t is just a Scrooge

So stay warm, festive, and fashionable
