Spring Into Warmer Weather
As the days are getting longer and April is upon us, it’s beginning to finally get warmer outside. Your favorite shorts and tank tops are finally getting the comeback they deserve after being stored in the back of your closet for months on end.
Regardless, this warmer weather does not come without its challenges. Some days, it seems like the weather just can’t make up its mind; it’s freezing when you’re up early for those dreadful 8 a.m. classes or a morning run, but by midafternoon it can warm up to 70 degrees. The dilemma: How should you dress?
The most important thing to consider as it starts to warm up is finding a way to lightly layer. My favorite option during this time of year are cardigans, which provide some warmth without being too toasty.

Another option is pairing certain bottoms with leg warmers, which can be easily taken off later in the day as it heats up outside.

In addition to leg warmers, there are so many different types of tights that can fit your individual style and be worn under dresses, skirts, or shorts. From fishnets to knee-high tights, there’s sure to be something that matches your go-to spring fit.

Another important factor to consider as it starts warming up is the type of material you’re wearing. Start to venture away from wool and fur, and begin to rock clothes made from linen and cotton. These options are known to be breathable fabrics, so they’re perfect for the spring.

If pants are more your vibe even as it starts to warm up, there are still plenty of options. For some, a good pair of chinos can always do the trick.
