“I believe that everything you do should be done with the greatest passion and dedication, or not at all.”

Lora Yordanova, our Blog Content Editor, is the definition of a GirlBoss. She is a junior Honors student double majoring in Journalism and Romance Languages, and is working on a New Media Certificate from Grady.

Lora is originally from Bulgaria and her culture is a very important part of who she is. She loves to read and is a big believer in the importance of staying informed. In addition to running the Rouge blog, Lora has a personal blog (http://lotsoflora.com/) where she covers a diverse range of topics from political issues to traveling.

She was very excited to become part of the Rouge team as Rouge is rapidly growing. To her, this means that Rouge gets to be a place of experimentation and creativity.

We are always bouncing around new ideas, planning new things, and improvising in the moment as we tackle new challenges.

It is one of the most exciting on-campus activities to be a part of in her opinion. According to Lora, Rouge has taught her a lot about collaborating with others and working on a team.

“All of us are working to make an amazing issue of the magazine each semester and with all of our different schedules, it takes a lot of pitching in to help and being dedicated above all else to make the magazine shine.”

Lora hopes new members learn what it means to be a part of something and what it’s like to pour your heart into a project. “Everyone at Rouge is passionate about what we do and we feed off of each other’s excitement.”

In addition to her academic and other blogging pursuits, Lora is a major fan of Queen— she knows every song. She also has a passion for fashion, and views every day as an occasion to get dressed up!
